Caleb Keiter is a freelance audio engineer and Avid certified Pro Tools Expert based in San Diego, CA. Caleb has been a staff-engineer at Studio West in San Diego and also at Omega Studios in Rockville, MD. In addition, Caleb also has over 10 years of experience teaching Pro Tools and audio recording classes at both The Recording Arts Center and The Omega Studios School For The Applied Recording Arts & Sciences.
Caleb has worked with Death Cab for Cutie, Queens of the Stone Age, and The Eagles of Death Metal, as well as Billy Ray Cyrus, Heather Locklear, and Elizabeth Reaser on film and television stages. He also recorded the samples for FXPansion's BFD Percussion Expansion Pack.
Caleb studied audio recording at The Omega Studios School For The Applied Recording Arts & Sciences in Rockville, MD. After two years in Richmond, VA working for Acoustical Solutions, Sound of Music Studios, and his own remote recording company, Black Box Recording, Caleb returned to Omega Studios as a staff-engineer and instructor at the school before moving to California in 2007. He has also worked out of Dragonfly Studios in Virginia and taught Pro Tools courses at Future Media Concepts in New York City.
Caleb is available for audio recording, editing, mixing, and mastering, as well as studio consulation and instruction.
